Xi: China to build oil and gas pipelines

Chinese President Xi Jinping urged on Tuesday a "comprehensive improvement of infrastructure" in the country, including the construction of new oil and gas pipelines.

Delivering remarks during a meeting of Beijing's Central Financial and Economic Affairs Commission, Xi underlined the importance of infrastructure for both social and economic development of the Asian country.

China will look to facilitate construction and strive to improve "fiscal spending on infrastructure projects," Xi said as translated by Global Times.
