Russia strikes Odessa - Ukrainian army
Ukrainian colonel Maksym Marchenko wrote on his Telegram account informing of a missile attack in Odessa on Monday, without disclosing the exact number of the wounded and dead caused by the attack.
Marchenko explained that during the attack, the Russian side targeted the infrastructure facilities of the city. On Monday evening, eyewitnesses reported a powerful explosion in Odessa after a siren warned the citizens of the airstrike.
Last Saturday, Odessa airport was targeted by Russian air forces disabling "the logistics terminal at the military airfield." During the visit of United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to Kiev last week, two missiles were fired on Ukraine's capital, injuring at least 10 people.
