US Treasury yields rise further
United States Treasury yields increased further on Thursday after the decline sparked by Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell's remarks ended.
The sentiment took a sharp turn from yesterday on Wall Street as well, where the Dow Jones Industrial Average toppled over 1,100 points.
The return on the 10-year Treasury note rose by 16.7 basis points to 3.082% at 12:01 pm ET. The yield on the two-year note moved up 11 basis points to 2.726% at 12:02 am ET, while the return on the 30-year bond increased by 17.5 basis points to 3.178% at the same time.
