Russia to increase oil output in May - Novak

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said on Monday that crude oil production in May is expected to increase compared to the previous month. According to a report by Tass, the output fell by almost 9% in Aprile compared to March, exceeding expectations of around 4% to 5%.

"If you look at the indicators of early May, they are better than April. The situation is stable," Novak told reporters. "We expect that the indicators in May will be partially restored and will be better."
