US higher premarket, Dow jumps 300 points

Stock indexes in the United States traded higher premarket on Tuesday as market volatility continues amid concerns surrounding rising inflation and the Fed's rate hikes in response. In data, reports on retail sales and industrial production are expected before the start of the session.

The Dow Jones surged 0.98% or 318 points at 4:23 am ET, as the Nasdaq 100 jumped by 1.67% or 205 points at the same time, while the S&P 500 grew by 1.21%.

The euro traded 0.45% compared to the dollar and went for 1.04802 at 4:24 am ET.
