US extends premarket gains, Dow up 500 points

United States stock markets increased their gains in premarket trade on Tuesday, as the Dow Jones soared over 1.5%. Home Depot added over 4.6% after record sales for a first quarter. Meanwhile, Twitter lost as much as 3.5% after Elon Musk threatened to pull out of the deal to buy the company over a disagreement on the number of spam accounts.

The Dow Jones surged 1.55% or 500 points at 6:27 am ET. The Nasdaq 100 improved by 2.18% and the S&P was up by 1.70% at the same time.

The euro traded 0.79% higher against the dollar, selling for 1.05150 at 6:28 am ET.
