Opening Ukrainian ports requires sanctions removal - Russia

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko blamed on Thursday Western sanctions against Russia for the global food crisis, stating they "interfere with normal free trade." He said Russia could consider opening Ukrainian Black Sea ports under its control but linked the issue with the sanctions on Russian exports.

"This issue must be considered very comprehensively: if our partners want to achieve a solution, then it is necessary, among other things, to solve problems related to the abolition of the sanctions restrictions that were imposed on Russian exports," Rudenko told Interfax.
