US higher premarket as Dow adds 300 points

Stock markets in the United States traded with gains premarket on Friday with the Dow Jones increasing by almost 1%. On Thursday, Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari assured the Fed will do everything possible to ensure a "soft landing" as it works to bring inflation down. Meanwhile, Kansas City Fed President Esther George said she is in favor of 50 basis points interest rate hikes.

The Dow Jones grew by 0.97% or 303 points at 4:42 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 jumped 1.65% and the S&P 500 improved by 1.15% at the same time.

The euro traded 0.09% lower compared to the dollar, going for 1.05760 at 4:43 am ET.
