Treasury yields slip as traders turn to bonds

United States Treasury yields decreased slightly on Friday as investors turned to bonds amid volatility on Wall Street.

Despite a positive start, the investors were seemingly still struggling to shrug off inflation worries, pushing bond prices higher, and yields lower.

The return on the 10-year Treasury note went down 4.7 basis points to 2.808% at 12:07 pm ET. The yield on the two-year note moved down by 1.4 basis points to 2.597% at the same time, while the return on the 30-year bond slipped 6 basis points to stand at 3.005% a minute later.
