Johnson, Erdogan share Ukraine crisis concerns

United Kingdom Primer Minister Boris Johnson and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan agreed on both being concerned about the impact of Russian operations in Ukraine on global stability, the UK's government stated in a Friday evening announcement.

The two leaders also settled on mutual cooperation regarding the unlocking of "vital supply routes for Ukrainian grain stocks" and the alleviation of the "rising global food crisis", the announcement noted.

Furthermore, Johnson also highlighted the threat Moscow could pose to its European neighbors and encouraged Erdogan to work with Sweden and Finland on resolving any potential disagreements as the Scandinavian counties' entry into NATO could prove to be a significant factor in the maintaining of future European security.
