Russia says it destroyed western arms for Ukraine

The Russian military has destroyed a shipment of Western-supplied weapons for Ukraine, the Defence Ministry said on Saturday.

The ministry noted that its troops blew up the supplies intended for Kiev's troops in the eastern Donbas region using long-range missiles.

"High-precision long-range sea-based Kalibr missiles destroyed a large batch of weapons and military equipment near the Malin railway station in Zhytomyr region delivered from the United States and European countries," it stated.
