Beijing could relax quarantine measures - report

Beijing city authorities are exploring the possibility of relaxing coronavirus-related quarantine measures for arrivals from abroad, the South China Morning Post reported on Monday.

According to the two anonymous sources with knowledge of the plans, foreign investors have appealed to the Chinese capital's officials to ease the measures.

If passed, people arriving from abroad would be in a hotel for seven days, followed by seven days of health monitoring. Currently, Beijing requests hotel quarantine to last for 10 days.
