US higher premarket with World Economic Forum in focus

United States stock markets traded with gains in premarket trade on Monday. During his visit to Japan on Monday, the United States President Joe Biden pledged with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida to jointly establish a world that is "free of nuclear weapons," adding that Washington will intervene "militarily" in the Taiwan dispute if necessary.

As the Dow Jones soared 0.40% at 04:39 am ET, the Nasdaq 100 increased 0.41% and the S&P 500 grew by 0.46% at the same time.

The euro traded 0.62% higher compared to the dollar, going for 1.06271 at 04:39 am ET.
