HP Inc. Q2 revenue up 3.9% YoY to $16.5B
HP Inc. published on Tuesday its financial results for the second fiscal quarter of 2022, recording $16.5 billion in revenue, a 3.9% increase compared to the same period last year. GAAP diluted earnings per share stood at $0.94 per share, down by 4% from the $0.98 recorded in the second quarter of 2021.
GAAP net earnings declined by 19% in comparison to the year prior to a total of $1 billion. In addition, net cash provided by operating activities amounted to $500 million, while the free cash flow reached $400 million.
"Collectively, our key growth businesses grew double digits and drove $5.6 billion in revenue in the first half of the year. Our consistent performance in the face of a volatile macro environment gives us confidence in our plans to build a stronger HP," stated the company's CEO Enrique Lores.
After the release of the report, HP shares improved by 0.41% in the after-hours trading.
