Europe rises at open amid economic data reports

Stock markets in Europe opened higher on Wednesday as investors looked at the latest updates on house prices in the United Kingdom and Germany's industrial production. Eurozone GDP and employment figures, as well as UK construction data, will be released after the exchanges start trading. Elsewhere, Credit Suisse warned about potential losses in the second quarter due to global uncertainty.

The DAX grew 0.28% at 9:00 am CET with Delivery Hero rising 2.37% at 9:03 am CET. London's FTSE 100 was up 0.22% at 9:00 am CET as Avast led the gains with a 2.09% advance a minute later. The CAC 40 increased by 0.24% at 9:00 am CET with Safran's 3.44% jump pulling the index higher at 9:02 am CET.

The euro was down 0.15% against the dollar, selling for 1.06880 at 8:59 am CET. The British pound decreased by 0.16% in comparison to the greenback, going for 1.25726 at the same time.
