Asia-Pacific trades higher after BoJ remarks

Stock markets across the Asia-Pacific region traded with strong gains on Monday after the Bank of Japan once again reaffirmed its commitment to the easy monetary policy. Additionally, the G7 announced a five-year, $600 billion plan for infrastructure investment in developing and middle-income countries. The Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGII) will also "deliver returns" and "boost" all G7 economies, United States President Joe Biden claimed.

The Nikkei 225 grew 1.04% at 4:35 am CET. The Shanghai Composite was up 0.91% at 4:26 am CET and the Shenzhen Composite Index rose by 1.54% at 4:41 am CET. The Hang Seng jumped 2.64% a minute later. The Kospi in South Korea gained 2.01% at 4:42 am CET. The S&P/ASX 200 in Australia advanced 1.93% concurrently.

The dollar was 0.32% lower compared to the Japanese yen at 4:42 am CET, trading for 134.8235.
