China opposing Yoon at NATO summit 'lack of courtesy' - PM
South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo on Wednesday blasted China for objecting to President Yoon Suk-yeol's participation in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit.
"If it is necessary for our security, we should go," said the prime minister. "It would be a lack of courtesy for China to say do it or don't do it. It is not in line with mutual respect."
Although not a member nation, South Korea was invited to take part in the summit as the Organization's partner in the Asia-Pacific region.
