Shoygu: Russia cleared Mariupol port mines

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu said on Tuesday that Russian forces have cleared the mines in the Mariupol port. The operation was part of Russia's effort to ensure safe navigation in the Black and Azov Seas, he stated, adding that Russia has created two humanitarian corridors for civilian ships.

Shoygu also claimed the West "wants to prolong the conflict in Ukraine," estimating that over 28,000 tons of military cargo have been delivered to the country. "According to the available data, some of the foreign weapons supplied by the West to Ukraine are spreading throughout the Middle East region, and also end up on the black market," he alleged.
