Wall Street closes mostly lower after payroll report

United States markets closed mostly lower on Friday after a volatile session and the publication of important economic data.

Labor Statistics Bureau's report said that for June, total nonfarm payroll employment in the United States increased by 372,00. Besides, the unemployment rate remained unchanged at 3.6%. On the other side, the Census Bureau revealed that wholesale inventories in the United States grew by 1.8% in May compared to April and amounted to $878.6 billion.

At the close, the Dow Jones lost 0.15%, with Walt Disney sinking 1.84%. The Nasdaq 100 added 0.14%, NetEase was leading the gains, improving by 2.67%. The S&P 500 declined 0.08%, while Twitter Inc dropped 4.85%.

The euro improved by 0.15% against the dollar at 3:57 pm ET, selling for $1.01763.
