Putin appoints Denis Manturov as Deputy PM

Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed on Friday Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov as Deputy Prime Minister. Manturov's candidacy was approved by the State Duma.

The move comes as part of a decree signed by Putin to change the structure of federal executive bodies, which will change the number of deputy ministers from 11 to 10, the Kremlin informed today.

Also, as part of the changes, Former Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov will replace Dmitry Rogozin as head of Roscosmos.
