Boeing's Q2 revenue down by 2% to $16.68B

The Boeing Company revealed on Wednesday that its revenue in the second quarter of 2022 observed an annual decrease of 2% to hit $16.68 billion. The company's earnings from operations went down by 24% compared to the same period in 2021 to land at $774 million. Its net earnings decreased by 72% to $160 million, while its diluted earnings per share (EPS) fell by 68% to $0.32 per share.

"As we begin to hit key milestones, we were able to generate positive operating cash flow this quarter and remain on track to achieve positive free cash flow for 2022. While we are making meaningful progress, we have more work ahead", Boeing President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dave Calhoun commented.

Despite declines in figures, most of them surpassed market expectations, which led to Boeing's shares going up by 3.64% in premarket trading.
