US opens mostly flat after trade, jobs data
Wall Street opened mostly flat on Thursday after two labor market reports and data on the United States trade balance. Corporate earnings are again in the spotlight and Amgen, Beyond Meat, Dropbox, DoorDash and Lyft will release their latest quarterly figures after the close.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average index lost 0.09% at the open. Intel was the worst performer, decreasing 2.07% at 9:46 am ET. The Nasdaq 100 and the S&P 500 were flat in the first minute of trading.
The euro increased by 0.16% against the dollar to trade at 1.01822 at 9:29 am ET.
