FAA: Boeing to restart deliveries of 787

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) stated on Monday that The Boeing Company is set to restart its deliveries of the 787 Dreamliner in the next few days, following a nearly two-year hiatus due to manufacturing issues.

"Boeing has made the necessary changes to ensure that the 787 Dreamliner meets all certification standards. The FAA will inspect each aircraft before an airworthiness certificate is issued and cleared for delivery," said FAA in a statement.

Previously, Boeing announced that it will increase the Dreamliner production to three a month after it regains approval from the regulatory bodies. The aircraft manufacturer recently made a deal with AerCap Holdings N.V to sell five 787 Dreamliners.
