Crude rises after flow through Ukraine stops

Oil prices recovered on Tuesday as Russia confirmed that Ukraine stopped the deliveries of oil through the Druzhba pipeline, affecting Hungary, Czechia and Slovakia. Transneft stated its payment for the transit was rejected in line with EU sanctions.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for settlements in September increased 1.21% at 7:17 am ET and sold for $91.83 per barrel. At the same time, Brent for settlements in October grew 1.35%, going for $97.94 per barrel.
