Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed on Tuesday that there was a detonation of several rounds of air-launched ammunition in Crimea, but that there are currently no known casualties. The Crimean Ministry of Health added that five people, including one child, were injured as a result of the explosion.

"According to the report from the site, there was no fire impact on the bunded ammunition storage area at the airfield," the ministry stated.

Russian-appointed President of Luhansk People's Republic Rodion Miroshnik posted photos on his Telegram account, adding that "residents of Crimea report explosions near the village of Novofedorivka. The first explosion occurred at about 15:00 local time."
