North Korea lifts COVID-19 restrictions - report

North Korean state media Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Saturday that the country has lifted COVID-19 restrictions, including wearing masks and social distancing. The restriction on service time of commercial and public facilities has also been brought back to normal, except in areas around the South Korean border, as the North put the blame on the spread of the virus on the South.

Earlier this week, Kim Jong-un declared victory over COVID-19, three months after the first case was acknowledged by the authorities.
