Iran to respond to EU's JCPOA offer tonight - FM

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stated on Monday that Tehran will respond to the European Union's proposal concerning the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) tonight.

Speaking at an event to mark Journalists Day, Amir-Abdollahian urged the United States to show more flexibility for the negotiations about the revival of the JCPOA to advance. "At all stages of the negotiations, we showed flexibility in the issues that we could show. [...] If America shows flexibility, we will reach an agreement point in the coming days. They talk about Plan B, but we also have our Plan B," he asserted.

Earlier this month, the EU was reported to have offered Iran certain concessions in exchange for reviving the talks about the nuclear deal. Tehran reportedly initially replied that the proposal is acceptable but demanded some of its conditions be met first.
