Ammo depot explodes in northern Crimea - report

An ammunition depot exploded early on Tuesday in northern Crimea, according to a report published by the Tass news agency, marking another blast registered at the disputed peninsula amid clashes in eastern and southern Ukraine. Slightly later, Russia's Defense Ministry confirmed a fire was behind the latest event and that there were no serious casualties.

Earlier today, a separate report from Ria News noted the fire was detected on a transformer substation near the Crimean town of Dzhankoi. Several explosions hit Crimea over the past weeks, with Russia reporting them as accidents. On the other hand, western reports argued Ukraine's air or artillery strikes could be behind the recent damages.
