Amazon unveils Kindle Scribe
Amazon.com Inc. unveiled its latest e-reader called Kindle Scriber at its product launch event on Wednesday.
The company noted that the device is the first Kindle users will be able to write on using a pen that comes with it. "It also has the world’s first 10.2-inch, 300 ppi Paperwhite display,' Amazon added. Kindle Scribe will become available globally "in time for holidays" and cost $339.99, while Microsoft Office support for the device is expected early next year.
Amazon also presented the Halo Rise, a smart lamp, which also works as an alarm clock and a sleep tracker. According to the company, the device can determine if there's another person or pet in the bed with you, measure temperature, humidity, and light levels.
