Musk to make 'alternative phone' if Twitter banned by Apple, Google

Twitter Inc. owner Elon Musk said that he will "make an alternative phone" if his social network is banned from Apple and Google's app stores. Rumors that Twitter could be removed from the stores were fuelled by rapid changes in the company since Musk took over, as well as the billionaire himself complaining that Apple and Google's fees are too high.

"I certainly hope it does not come to that, but, yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone," Musk tweeted when asked about Twitter's future in the app stores.
