Germany's inflation at 10% in November
Consumer prices in Germany observed an annual rise of 10.0% in November, which is slightly lower than the 10.3% that analysts projected, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) revealed in its preliminary report published on Tuesday. In October, the inflation rate stood at 10.4%.
The document predicted the final report will show increases in the prices of food and energy by 21.0% and 38.4%, respectively. Prices of services are expected to have grown by 3.7% and those of rents by 1.9%.
On a monthly level, consumer prices declined by 0.5%.
