Madrid letter bomb injures Ukraine Embassy employee
An employee of the Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid was "lightly" wounded when a letter bomb exploded in his hands, Spanish police reported on Wednesday.
"National police have opened an investigation which includes the participation of forensic police," the officer stated, confirming that the worker in question was taken to the hospital. Local media reports that the area is cordoned off, with anti-terror protocol activated.
The embassy has not yet issued a statement on the incident.
