Suspicious package at airbase in Spain - report

Spain's Torrejon de Ardoz air base received a suspicious package, Spanish media reported on Thursday. Police scanned the letter by X-ray and it appeared to have "a mechanism" concealed in the envelope.

The parcel is currently being analyzed by police with more details to follow.

The news comes after The Ukrainian embassy in Madrid received a letter bomb yesterday, causing light injuries to an employee. The incident followed a second letter bomb to a company in Zaragoza, which supplied weapons to Ukraine.
