ISM: US services sector grows further in November

The economic activity in the United States services sector increased for the 30th consecutive month, with the key index reaching 56.5%, according to the latest report published by the Institute for Supply Management on Monday.

The activity growth continued at a faster pace in the services sector, which has expanded for the last 154 months, excluding April and May 2020. The growth was pushed by expansions in business activity and employment.

The new orders index slipped to 56% and the supplier deliveries index declined to 53.8%, while on the other hand, the employment index rose to 51.5%. The dollar strengthened versus the euro and the pound following the data.
