Three Russian soldiers killed in airport drone attack

Three Russian soldiers have been killed and four hospitalized following a drone attack by the Ukrainian forces, the Ministry of Defense reported on Monday.

Soviet-made unmanned aircrafts attempted to attack two military airfields in Ryazan and Saratov regions and were shot down by Russian air defense, the ministry said in a statement, confirming that the ensuing explosion led to casualties.

Earlier today, Russia launched a fresh wave of attacks against Ukraine, and Moldova reported that a missile of unknown origin landed in its northern city of Briceni.
