Biden to speak to Cook, other tech CEOs in AZ - WH
United States National Economic Council Director Brian Deese specified on Tuesday that US President Joe Biden would speak to CEOs of several American tech giants, including Apple Inc.'s chief Tim Cook, during his visit to Arizona later in the day.
Biden is set to visit the site of the new Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited's facilities in Arizona and Apple is TSMC's single largest customer, according to Deese.
Alongside Apple and TSMC leaders, the US president will meet with CEOs of Micron Technology Inc., Advanced Micro Devices Inc., Nvidia Corporation, and ASML Holding N.V., and tell them the government is "fully committed" to investing in the semiconductor industry, Deese told reporters aboard Air Force One.
