US higher premarket ahead of PPI data
Major stock indexes in the United States traded higher during the premarket on Friday, as investors anticipated the latest data on producer prices in the country. Next week, all eyes will be on the consumer price index, alongside the Federal Reserve, as the central bank is expected to reveal its monetary policy decision.
On the earnings front, both Costco and Broadcom saw an increase in their revenue.
The Dow Jones edged up 0.07% at 4:30 am ET. At the same time, the Nasdaq 100 gained 0.36% and the S&P 500 increased 0.21%. The euro was flat against the dollar at 4:29 am ET, to sell for 1.05497.
