Air India nears deal to buy 150 Boeing 737 MAX jets - report
Air India is close to signing an agreement with Boeing Co. for up to 150 of its 737 MAX jets, the Economic Times reported on Saturday. Sources claimed that the airline is likely to order 50 planes at first, after which it could exercise the option to order the rest.
The report stated the first 50 aircraft should be delivered starting in March 2023. The deal is expected to be signed "in the next few weeks."
