Oracle posts Q2 revenue of $12.3B, up 18% YoY

Oracle Corporation revealed on Monday that its revenue in the second quarter of fiscal 2023 stood at $12.3 billion, jumping 18% in USD terms on a yearly basis. The company's operating income in the reported trimester reached $3.1 billion, recuperating from the $824 million operating loss from the same period in 2021.

Net income in three months ending November 30 came in at $1.7 billion, in comparison to a $1.2 billion net loss recorded in the same timeframe a year prior, while diluted earnings per share amounted to $0.63, recovering from diluted loss per share of $0.46 recorded in the second quarter of 2021.

"Oracle's total revenue grew 25% in constant currency, exceeding the high end of our guidance by more than $200 million," CEO Safra Catz commented. The company's shares increased 1.97% in after-hours trading following the results.
