Aeroflot acquires 10 Boeing 777s from Irish company
Russian flag carrier Aeroflot on Friday announced the purchase of 10 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft from an Irish leasing company.
"Aeroflot has purchased and obtained ownership of 10 long-haul Boeing 777-300ER, which had been under financial lease from an Irish leasing company since 2013 and 2014," the statement said.
According to the information, the transaction was carried out in accordance with the instruction of the Russian government and taking into account all necessary approvals from Russian and foreign regulators.
