DOJ finds six additional classified files in Biden's home
United States President Joe Biden's lawyer announced Saturday night that authorities of the Department of Justice found six more classified files in a new search conducted Friday at his home in Wilmington, Delaware.
In the search that lasted more than 12 hours, notes from Biden's time in the Senate and vice presidency were also found. This latest batch of documents joins a group of other classified records previously discovered at Biden's residence and in a private office.
Last week, United States Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed a special counsel who will supervise the investigation independently. Meanwhile, from the GOP ranks, voices of criticism have been raised against the president and the alleged lack of transparency in the case.
