US oil inventories reportedly up by 3.38M barrels
Crude oil inventories in the United States went up by 3.378 million barrels in the week that ended January 20, private data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) reportedly showed on Tuesday.
Reserves in Cushing, Oklahoma, were said to have gone up by 3.928 million barrels.
Gasoline inventories reportedly rose by 620,000 barrels. Meanwhile, the stockpiles of distillates seemingly declined, decreasing by 1.929 million barrels.
