IBM's Q4 revenue unchanged at $16.7 billion
The International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) announced on Wednesday that its revenue in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2022 remained at $16.7 billion, the same figure it was in the same period in 2021. Meanwhile, the company's net income observed an annual rise of 17% to hit $2.9 billion. Its diluted earnings per share (EPS) went up by 15% to reach $3.13 per share.
"Our solid fourth-quarter performance capped a year in which we grew revenue above our mid-single digit model," IBM Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Arvind Krishna commented. "Looking ahead to 2023, we expect full-year revenue growth consistent with our mid-single digit model."
Following the release of the report, IBM's shares advanced by 0.50% in after-hours trading.
