Apple reportedly planning to help users build AR apps

Apple Inc. is reportedly working on software that would allow any user to create their own augmented reality (AR) apps, the Information reported on Friday citing people working on the company's upcoming mixed-reality headset.

According to the report, the software would use Apple's voice assistant Siri to build AR apps, thus enabling even users with no coding knowledge to design apps.

Earlier reports said the Cupertino-based tech giant is expected to unveil the headset dubbed Reality Pro sometime in the spring and added it is likely to feature its own operating system and App Store.
