Boeing to employ 10,000 new workers in 2023
The Boeing Company announced on Friday that it's planning to hire 10,000 new employees this year.
According to the company's employment figures released today, in 2022, the airplane producer expanded its workforce by 23,000. The 2023 hirings will be focusing on the manufacturing and engineering sectors. Boeing also said, however, that some job cuts will be taking place in the support sector.
During a conference call following the earnings report on Wednesday, CEO Dave Calhoun shared that "hiring is not a constraint anymore."
