US condemns terrorist attack in Jerusalem
The United States Department of State condemned the terrorist attack that took place outside of a synagogue in Jerusalem earlier today, leaving multiple people dead and wounded.
"On behalf of the United States, I express our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and wish those injured a full recovery. We are in close contact with our Israeli partners and reaffirm our unwavering commitment to Israel's security," Secretary Antony Blinken noted.
The attack occurred on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which commemorates the victims of the Holocaust prior to and during the Second World War.
