Paramount+ to integrate Showtime in streaming, linear platforms

Paramount Global, formerly known as ViacomCBS, announced that it will integrate Showtime into Paramount+, a move encompassing streaming and linear platforms, TechCrunch reported Monday.

According to the report, Paramount + will now be rebranded as "Paramount+ with Showtime," while Showtime linear TV will be renamed the same in the United States.

"This change will also drive stronger alignment across our domestic and international Paramount+ offerings, as international Paramount+ already includes Showtime content. And, very importantly, this integration will unlock operational efficiencies and financial benefits across our broader portfolio," stated Paramount CEO Bob Bakish in a memo to employees announcing the news.
