UPS Q4 revenue falls 2.7% to $27 billion
United Parcel Service Inc. (UPS) revealed on Tuesday that its revenue for the fourth trimester of fiscal 2022 landed at $27 billion, declining 2.7% on a yearly basis. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) in the reported period reached $3.96, rising 12% in comparison to the same timeframe in 2021. Net income in the fourth quarter amounted to $3.4 billion, up around 9% compared to the same period a year prior.
For the whole 2022, revenue reached $100.3 billion, rising 3.1% year over year, while net income and diluted EPS stood at $11.5 billion and $13.20. According to the full-year 2023 guidance, revenue is expected to be between $97.0 billion and $99.4 billion.
UPS' stock declined 0.55% in premarket following the report.
