US oil inventories reportedly up by 6.33M barrels
Crude oil inventories in the United States increased by 6.33 million barrels in the week that ended January 27, well above expectations, private data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) reportedly showed on Tuesday.
Reserves in Cushing, Oklahoma, were reported to have grown by 2.72 million barrels.
The stockpiles of gasoline rose by 2.73 million barrels. Meanwhile, distillate inventories went up by 1.53 million barrels.
