Air raid alert reportedly on in Kiev ahead of EU summit
Air raid alert has been turned on in Kiev and the surrounding areas before the beginning of the summit between the European Union that is taking place in that country's capital, the Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported on Friday.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell are both set to attend the meeting.
The day before, the EU invited Ukraine to participate partially in its single market program (SMP), which it later accepted.
